About Us

The Toro Learning & Testing Center is certified by the National College Testing Association (NCTA) and and adheres to the professional standards and guidelines set forth by the NCTA.


Scheduling an Appointment 

Choose an option below to begin making a proctoring appointment. Please be aware that scheduling an appointment must be done no later than 48 hours before their desired test date. Same day appointments are not available.


Proctoring Fees

Proctor fees will be due at the conclusion of the examination. Payment will be completed through the Testing Center Marketplace Portal.

Proctoring Rates

    • Free for CSUDH students: Up to 2-hours (CSUDH students must pay regular rates beyond 2-hours)
    • $25: 1-Hour
    • $35: 90-minutes 
    • $45: 2-Hours     
    • $65: 3-Hours
    • $85: 4-hours

*Note: Proctor services will no longer be pro-rated. Students will pay a flat fee based on the numbers of hours needed for the exam set forth by their instructor.

Examinee Responsibilities
  • All students must have a valid, government or school issued photo ID to test, (see identification guidelines).
  • Students testing with the Toro Learning and Testing Center are responsible for ensuring that all required forms are completed prior to scheduling their appointment. Furthermore, it is the student’s responsibility to ensure that materials are sent to the CSUDH Toro Learning and Testing Center before their appointment.
  • Students who check-in 15 minutes after their exam appointment are subject to cancellation. Please notify Testing immediately if you will be more than 15 minutes late.
  • Missing a scheduled appointment without notifying the office prior to test may result in the student being ineligible to use Testing Center proctoring services.
  • Students are expected to adhere to the Academic Integrity policy of their home institution.
  • Students testing with the Toro Learning & Testing Center must adhere to the masking and Covid-19 policies and procedures set forth by the institution and L.A. County Dept. of Heath.
Identification Guidelines

Students are required to present a current photo ID to test

All identification must:

  • Be an original document – photocopied documents are not acceptable.
  • Bear the student’s full name, in English language characters, as it appears in our system.
  • Middle initials are optional and only need to match the first letter of the middle name.
  • Bear a recent, recognizable photograph that clearly matches the student.

Examples of acceptable forms of ID are provided below:

  • Student ID card
  • State issued ID card
  • Driver's license
  • Passport
  • Citizenship card (with photo)
  • Military ID
